What Is SwapSafe?
All of our Premium members are protected under the Gamejam SwapSafe service. This service was introduced as a means of offering Premium users 'peace of mind' when sending their games to another user as a part of a swap.
How Does It Work?
Under SwapSafe, Premium users are able to make a claim whenever another Premium user fails to send a game as a part of an agreed swap, meaning that the swapper loses out. We will investigate all claims and either replace the game or the value of the game (via Paypal) within 5 business days of receiving all of the necessary information.
When Does A Swap Qualify To Be Protected?
All swaps that are conducted using the following criteria qualify for SwapSafe protection:

The swap must have been made between 2 Premium members

The claiming swappers game must have been sent by recorded delivery (or Special Delivery) and must have been delivered with a signature

Each swapper must have a reputation of at least 5 reputation points

The claim must be for a single game only.
How Do I Make A Claim?
Firstly, you should wait for at least 7 days after expecting the game before making a claim. Once this date has expired and you still have not received the game in question, please send an email to claims@gamejam.com including the following information:
Upon receipt of this information, we will conduct an investigation and settle all valid claims within 5 business days.
We reserve the right to decline any claims in which fraudulent activity is suspected.
